Job Description
Quad/Graphics is currently seeking a Building Maintenance Mechanic to work in the Lomira, WI location. The Maintenance Technician - Building is responsible for performing skilled mechanical work in the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, service, repair of plumbing, piping, and other building and print production support equipment.
The Maintenance Technician - Building is responsible for repair and maintenance of HVAC systems, refrigeration systems on walk-in coolers, icemakers, compressed air dryers, air compressors, vacuum pumps, electric motors, belt drives, mechanical couplings, chillers, chill water systems, chemical treatment, water softeners, overhead doors, fire doors, dock equipment, rail dock equipment, toilets, urinals, drain cleaning, and other building related problems deemed necessary. Contribute to an accident-free work environment by complying with all company rules and regulations.

Qualifications
Required:
High school diploma or GED
Completion of, enrollment in, or the desire to enroll into a maintenance program at a vocational/technical school or a recognized apprenticeship program in general mechanical maintenance
Mechanic must furnish their own basic set of mechanic hand tools
Possess good oral, reading and writing skills for effective communication
Must know how to properly operate and maintain power tools to keep them in safe working order
Basic Computer Skills
Preferred:
Mechanical or industrial maintenance experience is a plus
Basic Welding
Background in HVAC, plumbing, piping, fitting, and pneumatics
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis
Physical endurance and mobility for prolonged standing, walking, frequent bending, stooping, and reaching
Ability to work from ladders, lifts, or elevated platforms - indoors and outdoors - and be able to work in confined spaces
Ability to work a 12-hour shift and be available for overtime as required
