We are looking for a Plant Manager, with primary hours of First Shift, Monday through Thursday 5:
00am to 2:
00pm, Friday 5:
00am to 9:
00am.
The Plant Manageris responsible for directing and coordinating activities of the production floor to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits by performing the following duties or through subordinate supervisors:
Prioritize safety throughout the plants by providing training and ensuring all employees understand the responsibility to address any safety concerns.
Lead manufacturing team to prioritize producing quality products while reducing both internal and external scrap.
Create processes where the production schedule is measurable and attainable.
Support supervisory staff to ensure the achievement of production KPI's.
Accomplishes goals by assisting in establishing plans, budgets and result measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid- course corrections.
Develop a high-performance team by engaging, coaching and developing team members, and by diving accountability and ownership at all levels.
Identifies and satisfies customers' needs consistently and proactively with the goal of on-time deliveries for each order.
Oversee, implement and sustain a schedule of committed, fixed shipments for at least 48 hours.
Hold supervisory staff accountable for adhering to these commitments.
Assists in establishing the production schedules alongside with the Master Scheduler based on customer due dates.
Interacts with the Sales/ Customer Service team to improve on-time customer delivery and communicates changes to due dates timely.
Understands forward-looking demand and orders and uses these tools to understand and forecast future staffing and overtime needs.
Recommend and implement improvements in methods and processes to increase productivity and quality.
Determine overtime for facilities based on capacity data.
Coordinate and communicate with purchasing and engineering departments to align resources and coordinate work.
Responsible for overseeing maintenance supervisor, including ensuring the proper maintenance of equipment and building, establishing plant housekeeping skills, and PM schedules are being followed.

Years in a Metal Fabrication Manufacturing setting with a leadership or supervisory emphasis.
Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school required.
Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Business, or a related field; advance degree preferred.
